4th World Radyo: Black Relationships, Black Unity and Social Change

Summary 4th World Radyo Exclusive:  —  The first part of the show has TheAngryindian saying more about the Renisha McBride case and the not so surprising return of George Zimmerman to the news headlines in another case of abuse.  —   The second part of this dispatch features an open-ended, strongly Afrocentric discussion between TheAngryindian and Twitter activists American African educator Ms. Nah’eela (a.k.a. @PostRacialMyAss) and Franz Fanon political theorist Mr. Malichi Daniels (a.k.a. @Fanonian).

The discourse begins with the changing, socio-cultural dynamics taking place within the African Diaspora and expands from there0..

    • Is there an actual dysfunctional relationship between African males and females outside of the colonial paradigm?
    • Has interracial marriage served to solve racism or has it led to the destruction of the minority family and community/national cohesiveness in the Americas?
    • Is the ‘Angry Black Woman’ a racist stereotype, or it a symptom of a doubly misogynist society that uses race as a negative factor in gender bias?
    • And, how do we move forward to advance this discussion?

These questions and more are raised, evaluated and dissected by two qualified and seasoned African thinkers seeking answers to the pressing issues and concerns facing the Black World today.  Don’t miss it.

Was the fix in for Mi’kmaq Warriors at Elsipogtog?: Signs point to some having prior knowledge October 17th was ‘take down’ day | The Dominion

by Miles HoweMONCTON, NB–Coady Stevens, the first of six Mi’kmaq Warrior to appear on charges related to the anti-shale gas encampment along Highway 134, has been denied bail.
As bail hearings today continue for the five remaining incarcerated members of the Mi’kmaq Warriors Society, enough information is beginning to surface to suggest that the vicious pre-dawn RCMP takedown of the anti-shale gas encampment on the morning of October 17th was a well known fact among some before it happened.
This is not to suggest that these people necessarily knew of the severity or magnitude of the RCMP raid, or even what it would look like. On the other hand, the possibility that others knew of the raid on October 17th is becoming too real to ignore.
Not only this, but there is a clear possibility that the greater narrative behind the raid is the measured destruction of the Mi’kmaq Warriors Society, to be replaced in their stead by a joint Assembly of First Nations/RCMP force.
Did Elsipogtog First Nation Chief Sock know that Thursday was the day?

Fourth World Radyo: The Problem of White Allies (10.10.2013)

Summary: TheAngryindian examines the troubling problem of ‘White Allies’ and the hypocrisy of pretend partnerships with at-risk communities living under White racist extremist violence, state-sponsored police brutality and the constant threat of genocide as it is defined under established international law. This broadcast includes archival audio of an international conference on the morality of revolutionary violence during the 1960’s with Kwame Ture, Allen Ginsburg and a large host of other notable thinkers of the era questioning the role of direct action within the counter-culture movement.

Fourth World Radyo: African Genocide and Fanonian Dialectics (09.22.2013)

Summary: TheAngryindian looks at the obvious anti-African aspects of the modern North American experience and the communal reluctance to accept the reality that Black People are not welcome in the Europocentric paradigm. Also: 4th World Radyo speaks with Afrocentric writer; poet; illustrator; street activist and Franz Fanon political-lit specialist Malichi Daniels about the current state of the African Diaspora and the question of physical as well as cultural sustainability. The dialogue concerning colonialism, xenophobia and self-defeating cultural implosion is particularly deep, leading into many stimulating and illuminating African subjects and ideological areas generally not openly aired on a public forum. If you have never had a chance to encounter independent Afro-centred political theory explained in clear, practical terms before, here is your chance. Cop this.
